Emergency Management Director, Bob Anderson said the county had three large grass fires Wednesday that lasted for most of the day and required six departments to contain. Departments have had to continue teaming up on fires, he said.

On Thursday Limestone Fire along with neighboring departments assisted Northwest Fire District on grass fire that spread to the house on the property. The house was a total loss.

Failure to observe this ban may result in criminal prosecution under O.S. Title 2 Article 16 § 26, punishable by a fine not to exceed $500, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
